MongoDB Task Monitor

3T MongoChef ships with a cool new feature: a integrated task monitor for MongoDB. You can now easily monitor all operations currently running on your MongoDB server. Right-click on a database and select from the popup menu “Open Task Monitor”.

You will see a complete list of all running MongoDB server operations. For each operation, view details such as the opid or description. View operation details either in tree-view or table-view.

Want to get rid of a stray server-side eval function, or an overly long-running MapReduce operation? Just select the operation in your view and click the “Kill Operation” button to terminate it. All from within MongoChef’s GUI. Monitoring and managing (long-running) MongoDB server operations has never been easier!
